Bobby Jenks sorry he got caught

After being charged with 5 counts including, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident (at a strip club) and 3 counts of damaging property while driving under the influence, Bobby Jenks had this to say:

"I am embarrassed by the situation and apologize to my teammates and to the Red Sox organization for any distractions I may have caused. I still need to let the legal process run its course and until it does, I will not be able to make any further comment."

I guess you have to give Jenks some credit in that he was completely up front the entire time he was talking to the cops, but you can't tell me the guy is sorry. He pulled a Mo Vaughn, which in case you don't know, is when you spend all night getting tuned up in a strip club and then run into some automobile problems on the way home. Mo's signature moment came when he flipped his truck coming home from the Foxy Lady in Providence, RI.
What I don't understand is why these guys don't just have a driver or call a cab. Bobby Jenks has made millions of dollars over his career so you can't tell me all his money was in The Lovely Lola's G-string. And as for Mo Vaughn? Well the Foxy has a wonderful legs and eggs special most mornings, next time I'm sure Mo stayed for a few plates and a couple cups of coffee to sober up - he did put on a lot of weight towards the end.
