Crawford to have wrist examined today

These quotes are from Gordon Edes-
Just finished meeting with Bobby Valentine, who said left fielder Carl Crawford will have his wrist checked by doctors Monday, a precautionary step before he resumes swinging a bat. Assuming he is found to be OK, Valentine expects Crawford will be given the immediate green light to resume activity.
Hopefully Crawford can get the news he is looking for. It would be great if he could face some of the pitchers from the big club before they ship up to Boston. I'm sure immediate activity will consist of hitting off a tee but it's progress.

Also on the injury front it seems Andrew Bailey is doing much better with that pesky lat injury. (Remember how many times Pedro went down with that?)

The other medical news of note involves closer Andrew Bailey, who has been dealing with a mild lat strain. He threw a "pain-free" bullpen session Sunday morning, Valentine said. "Ball popping, all that good stuff.'' The manager said he wasn't going to guess on when Bailey might get into a game.
Looks like the training staff is already off to a better start than the past few years. Here's to hoping we don't lose three of starting pitchers to season ending injuries again. Keep up the good work, fellas.
