Maybe Sox Should Skip the 1st Inning In Game 2

Seemingly taking a page from Josh Beckett's Friday evening debacle, Franklin Morales allowed 4 runs in the top of the 1st inning as the Yankees beat the Red Sox 6-1 in the opening game of Saturday's day/night doubleheader at Fenway Park.

Morales (pictured) served up home runs to Nick Swisher (with 2 on) and Andruw Jones (solo) with 2 out to account for the Yankees runs in the frame. He also allowed back-to-back home runs again in the 4th inning.

Meanwhile, Pawtucket Boston was held hitless by Freddy Garcia until David Ortiz singled with one out in the bottom of the 4th inning.

Sox and Yankees will do it again in a few hours. Phil Hughes will be on the mound for New York against Felix Doubront.
