Dice May Lose Starter Slot to Alfredo

Scott Lauber reports via Twitter that Daisuke Matsuzaka (1-5, 7.20 ERA, 1.571 WHIP) might not make his next start, and Alfredo Aceves (2-9, 25 saves, 4.48 ERA, 1.211 WHIP) might replace him in the rotation.

Makes sense to me. Let's hope Alfredo can control his temper, and doesn't step into the wrong play. Let's also note that Bobby Valentine, who some whispered was leaving Aceves in too long, said he was "stretching him." Perhaps the stretch will pay off.
