OK, So We Can Forget About .500...Now What?
You can sum this one up pretty quickly - Daisuke Matsuzaka didn't get get out of the 4th inning as the Red Sox fell to the Rays 12-3 in Tampa.
Matsuzaka (pictured) allowed 5 runs in 3+ innings on 9 hits including a pair of home runs.
The Red Sox actually had a brief lead thanks in part to RBI singles by Jacoby Ellsbury in the 1st and 3rd innings.
Ellsbury's 3 hits and 2 by Pedro Ciriaco accounted for the Boston offense.
