Red Sox close to trading Alfredo Aceves
According to Nick Cafardo from the Boston Globe all eyes have been on Red Sox reliever Alfredo Aceves since his return from the World Baseball Classic. Speculation is swirling around the possibility of the Red Sox trading Aceves and his problems to another team.
Lots of scouts watching Red Sox relievers the past few days including Texas. There's a chance the Red Sox could move Alfredo Aceves. This should come as no surprise to Red Sox fans as Aceves has been at the forefront of any and all Red Sox drama this spring. It started earlier this month when he refused to participate in a pitching drill as intended and ended with his participation in the WBC brawl between Mexico and Canada.

It's unfortunate the relationship between the Red Sox and Aceves has deteriorated to this point, but in the end perhaps a fresh start for both parties would be best.
