David Ortiz not in lineup tonight

Per ESPN source, the Red Sox apparently will play tonight without DH David Ortiz in the lineup. This was somewhat expected, as Ortiz has apparently struggled against the Athletics' starting pitcher Bartolo Colon, batting .130 (6-46 career).

So thankfully this seems to be a healthy scratch, nothing for Red Sox fans to worry about moving forward. Since returning to the Red Sox for an emotional game on Saturday, Ortiz has been great. In his three games played, Ortiz is 6-for-12.
