3 Stars of the game: Game 28

The Red Sox may have dropped the first game of the series against Toronto but that did not stop them from winning the last 2 games to win the series. A strong pitching performance by Dempster and a few key hits allowed the Red Sox to come back from an early 1 run deficit to win the game - . Here are your 3 stars of the game:

Star 3: David Ross
Its hard to give 3 stars of the game when the team only has a total of 6 hits and 3 runs, while Ross didn't have any hits he did score 1 run. In 4 plate appearances Ross went 0-1 with 3 walks.
Star 2: Jacoby Ellsbury
Ellsbury patrolled the outfield like the seasoned veteran that he is expected to be. Ellsbury went 1-4 tonight with a walk and one RBI. The RBI was his 12th of the season.
Star 1: Ryan Dempster
Dempster didn't quite dazzle Toronto hitters tonight but he was effective enough to get the job done and pick up a win, bringing his record to 2-2 on the year. In 6 innings of work Dempster allowed only 1 run on 4 hits. In slightly untypical fashion Dempster only struck out 4 but walked 3 batters.

Another series win for the Red Sox came in dramatic fashion, with Joel Hanrahan getting the save, number 100 on his career. They go to Texas to finish this 6 game road trip. How do you think they will fare in this next series, did I get the players of the game right tonight? Let me know on twitter @Ryanthahawaiian.
