Buchholz, Sox cruise to 6-2 win

Clay Buchholz threw seven strong innings, Jacoby Ellsbury had a pair of hits, and David Ortiz stole 3rd (!) as the Red Sox closed out a 6-3 road trip with a 6-2 win over the Chicago White Sox at Cellular Field.
With the win, Buchholz (pictured) improved to 7-0; he allowed just one run on five hits and three walks while striking out five. His ERA dropped to 1.73 as he continued to post Cy Young-candidate numbers.
Ortiz put Boston on the board early with an opposite field single in the bottom of the first inning to drive in a pair of runs. He stole third later in the inning, the first swipe of third in his career.Will Middlebrooks plated a run with a sacrifice fly in the top of the 8th; another run scored on a wild pitch. Daniel Nava drove in two more runs with a bases-loaded single in the top of the 9th to complete the scoring.
Andrew Bailey came on in the bottom of the 9th. He allowed a solo home run to Paul Konerko
