Update on David Ross' rehab

David Ross completed his first rehab stint in Double-A Portland this morning. Ross has been on the concussion list since May 12, and was cleared for baseball activities on Monday. Ross caught five innings for Franklin Morales, who was playing his fifth rehab game.
Ross went 1-for-3 with an one-RBI double, one run, and and two strikeouts. The Sea Dogs won their game over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 8-4, and Morales ended with no earned runs.
There is no word just yet on when Ross will be back, but it’s possible that he could come back after this one rehab outing. Morales will also be reevaluated today. All we can do is hope for the best, and maybe Ross can come back sooner rather than later playing the same way he was before his concussion.
