If I told you Stephen Drew would likely snub a one-year $14.1 million qualifying offer, especially after the postseason he had, you might mistake my statement for some sort of wildcard punchline.
Honestly, I wouldn't blame you for doing so.
Yet, if we've learned anything from El Diablo (Scott Boras) it's to expect the unexpected.
The quintessential wildcard.
Once again Boras is up to his old tricks, and Peter Gammons finally released a tweet that no one saw coming. Here's what Gammons tweeted today regarding Drew's qualifying offer and where he'll tell the Red Sox to put it...
GM:"Forget Stephen Drew accepting the $14M. Scott(Boras) already has set up a number of meetings on Drew for Tuesday at the GM meetings."
