Boston Red Sox World Series champion David Ortiz' victory tour brought him to New York City Monday for an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
Big Papi was looking sharp, dealing out the hugs and showing off the bling that included the 2013 World Series trophy.
Letterman talked to Ortiz about baseball, beards and the Boston Marathon bombing.
Dave then got Big Papi to deliver his now infamous line: "This is our *bleeping* city."

"The first day at Fenway, I saw a lot of faces expecting something special to happen,and me being one of those faces -- I was just on the other side trying to play baseball. I expressed myself the way I felt at the time."
