A-Rod supposedly working on deal for tell-all book

It seems as though Alex Rodriguez will do just about anything for money and attention nowadays. His next venture? A multimillion dollar deal on a tell-all book supposedly revealing everything the MLB did to his career.

Sources told the New York Post’s Page Six that top publishers are trying to get the story, including HarperCollins and Random House. There may even be a documentary deal in the works as well. Page Six’s source said that A-Rod met with director Billy Corben, whose work includes “Cocaine Cowboys” and ESPN’s “30 for 30” episode, “The U.”

As for the book, Page Six’s source said, “This book is going to go into the real low-down dirt of MLB tactics and collusion with the Yankees to get him out of the game.”

Now, the MLB very well could have done some of the less-than-honorable things they’ve been accused of doing to A-Rod, such as paying for evidence against him. But with evidence of at least two positive banned substance tests, it’s going to be hard to listen to anything A-Rod has to say about the league.
