David Ortiz arrived at spring training Tuesday accompanied by his agent and f-bombs.
Although Ortiz said he would not talk until Wednesday, he just couldn't help himself when the Boston Herald's John Tomase brought up the sluggers favorite topic in the Sox parking lot: His Contract
Concerning the criticism Ortiz has taken over being vocal about his latest contract situation, Big Papi blasted the haters:
Ortiz has made no secret of his desire for an extension of his current two-year, $30 million deal.
Tomase later called into 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Felger & Massarotti show and said, “Ortiz did not come into camp in a rage. It’s easy to read those quotes and think that he’s just this angry, angry guy. He’s actually in very good spirits, but this one particular subject really gets his blood flowing and his blood boiling.”
While Ortiz's demands are not out of the ordinary - especially for him - perhaps the Sox will leave him hanging a little longer. An angry Ortiz hits angry.
Look out AL East. And the haters.

Concerning the criticism Ortiz has taken over being vocal about his latest contract situation, Big Papi blasted the haters:
“I don’t even know why they’re bitching about me talking about contracts. Guys putting up my numbers, they’re making $25, $30 million. I’m not asking for that. I’m asking for half of it. And they’re still bitching about it? (Expletive) them. I’m tired of hearing them talk (expletive) about me when I talk about my contract. Hey, every time I talk about my contract, I earn it, (expletive). So don’t be giving me that (expletive).”
