Red Sox starter and duck boat connoisseur Jake Peavy will miss Monday's start after cutting his finger with a fishing knife.
Spring training is hard.
According to Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com, Peavy lacerated his left index finger with a fishing knife at his home on Saturday. Peavy needed stitches to close the cut which was not on his pitching hand.
Peavy won't be allowed to throw for at least three days.
Meanwhile, this hockey player had someone skate over his face. He later returned to the game.
