Brock Holt's 1-out RBI triple in the bottom of the 7th inning broke a 2-2 tie and helped push the Red Sox to a 4-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park.
Baltimore and Boston traded single runs in the 1st inning - Red Sox starter Felix Doubront struck out the side but struggled a bit - before Boston took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 4th on David Ortiz's 3rd home run of the season.
Boston only managed 5 hits, 2 each by Ortiz and Dustin Pedroia.
Doubront didn't figure in the decision but pitched well allowing 2 runs in 6.2 innings on 5 hits and 2 walks; he struck out 7.
Junichi Tazawa pitched a clean 1.1 innings and Koji Uehara came on in the 9th for his 4th save of the season.
