Recap - Sox come up short vs. Orioles

The Red Sox modest 2-game winning streak is over, thanks to an 8-4 win by the Orioles at Fenway Park. John Lackey took the loss, allowing 6 runs on 10 hits and 4 walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out 6 in dropping his 2nd decision of the season.
Baltimore jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a run in the top of the 1st on an RBI single by Adams Jones. Two innings later Nick Markakis doubled home a run and Nelson Cruz singled home a pair.
The Red Sox banged out 11 hits and every starter had at least one hit. Mike Carp and Brock Holt each had 2 hits.
