Over the past 24 hours or so, my Twitter and Facebook pages have been abuzz with Stephen Drew chatter, some positive and some negative. We at Red Sox Life want to give you the chance to weigh in in our latest RSL Poll. Vote below and tell us what you think - was bringing Stephen Drew the right move?

PROS: Drew will shore up the left side of the infield with his glove, which has been a problem with Xander Bogaerts and Will Middlebrooks this season. While it doesn't solve every problem the Red Sox have, having his glove on the left side will be a plus. He's also a career .284 hitter against right handed pitchers, which is something the Red Sox have struggled with. The Sox are currently hitting .242 with 4 home runs collectively against RHP this season. He also provides a steady veteran presence from the championship run last year.

CONS: His bat. Plain and simple. Drew hit .253 with 13 home runs and 67 RBI's last year and pulled a disappearing act during the postseason. True, those numbers could be worse, but they could also be a heck of a lot better. In a season where offense has been lacking for the Red Sox, Drew doesn't add a whole lot.

It's time for you, the readers to weigh in. Vote in the poll below and tell us what you think.
