Video: Ben Cherington discusses Jon Lester

Jon Lester was the main piece traded by the Red Sox today. Many fans (including this one) are hoping that the Red Sox re-sign Lester after the season. Cherington of course can't discuss that right now (didn't stop the question from being asked). Consider me pessimistic that the Red Sox will pay to bring back Lester. It's a shame. When you have home grown, healthy, #1 starters that have succeeded repeatedly in Boston it's foolish to let them go.
