Allen Webster (pictured) combined with three Red Sox relievers to limit the Angels to just two runs as Boston topped Los Angeles 4-2 at Angel Stadium on Friday night.

Webster went 6.2 innings allowing both Angels runs on just four hits and a pair of walks. Tommy Layne, Junichi Tazawa and Koji Uehara combined to limit Los Angeles to just two hits and a walk over the final 2.1 innings. Uehara recorded his 24th save of the season.

The Red Sox jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the third on an RBI single by Dustin Pedroia that scored Christian Vazquez. One out later, Yoenis Cespedes doubled home Brock Holt and Pedroia.

The Angels scored a pair in the bottom of the inning to make the score 3-2 but Mike Napoli's 14th home run of the year in the top of the fifth pulled the Sox further ahead and finished the scoring.

Holt and Pedroia each had two hits for Boston. Jackie Bradley Jr. made yet another ridiculous defensive play in centerfield.
