Rick Porcello's inability to hold a lead was on full display in Kansas City Saturday night as the Red Sox blew a 4-1 lead, losing 7-4 to the Royals.
Porcello lasted only five innings, charged with six runs on eight hits and two walks. His record dropped to 4-8; it was his sixth consecutive loss.
As if that wasn't bad enough, Pablo Sandoval and Blake Swihart both had to leave the game with injuries and Dustin Pedroia went 0-5 in his return to the lineup.
Mookie Betts (pictured) had two hits including his seventh home run of the year.
