Joe Kelly served up three home runs to the Astros as the Red Sox fell to Houston 4-2 on Wednesday night at Minute Maid Park. The loss was the seventh straight for Boston.

Preston Tucker took Kelly deep twice including a solo home run in the bottom of the first to give Houston an early 1-0 lead.

With the Astros leading 4-0 in the sixth, the Red Sox chipped away with a pair of runs to cut the lead in half. Dustin Pedroia doubled home Blake Swihart and then came home himself on an RBI single by Xander Bogaerts.

Kelly went 5.1 in the loss in his first start since being demoted to AAA Pawtucket on June 25. If you're looking for something positive, he struck out six and walked only one.
