Blake Swihart (pictured) slammed two home runs and Rick Porcello survived a rough first inning as the Red Sox topped the Yankees 10-4 at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night.

With the Orioles rained out, Boston moved into sole possession of third place in the American League East.

Both teams combined to score ten runs in the first inning. The Red Sox drew first blood with six runs off Yankees starting pitcher Ivan Nova highlighted by a three-run shot by Swihart.

New York answered back with four in the bottom of the inning off Porcello including a two-run homer by Dustin Ackley. Porcello went eight innings for the win and only gave up two hits after that first inning.

Mookie Betts, Dustin Pedroia, Swihart and Jackie Bradley Jr. all had two hits for Boston.
