Recap - Bullpen Melts Down Twice In Red Sox Loss

Tommy Layne, Junichi Tazawa and Craig Kimbrel (pictured) combined to allow six runs in 1.2 innings as the Red Sox fell to the Blue Jays 10-9 on Saturday at Rogers Centre.

Rick Porcello atarted for Boston going 6.2 innings. He gave up four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five. He's now pitched into the seventh inning eight times in ten starts this season.

Xander Bogaerts had three hits for the Red Sox, including his sixth home run of the year. His hitting streak now stands at 21 consecutive games.

Travis Shaw and David Ortiz also went deep for Boston; Ortiz's blast in the top of the ninth gave Boston a short-lived 9-8 lead until Kimbrel's implosion in the bottom of the inning.
