Red Sox Nation, we've found your stopper...and his name is Steven Wright.
With the team having lost three in a row and six of their last nine, Wright gave Boston five innings of three run pitching, combined with four solid innings from the bullpen, to help the Red Sox beat the Blue Jays 6-4 at Fenway Park on Saturday afternoon.
Wright (pictured) walked five but gave up only three hits in recording his sixth win of the season. Matt Barnes, Junichi Tazawa and Craig Kimbrel combined to allow just one run over four innings on one hit and three walks.
One day after his 26-game hitting streak ended, Xander Bogaerts led Boston with three hits and also scored three runs in the win.
Mookie Betts and David Ortiz each drove in two runs in the win.
