Recap - Sox Hold On To Keep Porcello Perfect At Fenway

The Red Sox slammed three home runs, Rick Porcello pitched into the seventh inning and the Red Sox survived a near-implosion by the bullpen as they held on to beat the Twins 8-7 at Fenway Park.

Hanley Ramirez, Dustin Pedroia and Travis Shaw each went deep for Boston, part of a ten-hit attack. Xander Bogaerts led the team with three hits; Pedroia and Hanley each had two.

Porcello (pictured) went 6.2 innings allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk. He struck out eight in earning his team-leading 13th win of the season. He is also a perfect 10-0 at Fenway this season.

Brad Ziegler picked up his 19th save of the season, and his first with the Red Sox, with a clean ninth inning.
