It was the first career shutout for Wright (pictured) who struck out nine and walked just one in earning his thirteenth win of the season. He is tied for the MLB lead in complete games with four this season.

Mookie Betts (three hits), Sandy Leon (four RBI's) and Travis Shaw all went deep for Boston in the win.

Dustin Pedroia left the game with what was said to be a shin contusion after fouling a ball off his leg in the third inning.

David Ortiz was honored by the Dodgers in a pre-game ceremony that included former teammates Dave Roberts, Nomar Garciaparra, and Adrian Gonzalez.
