The "immortal" Parker Bridwell held the Red Sox to a pair of runs over 6.2 innings as the Angels beat Boston 4-2 at Fenway Park on Sunday afternoon.
Bridwell, making just his third start of 2017, scattered seven hits and didn't walk a batter.
Doug Fister, newly acquired after being waived by the Angels, turned in a solid performance in the loss. He was charged with three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out seven.
Both Boston runs came via the long ball. Mitch Moreland (pictured) slammed his eleventh of the year in the second inning; Jackie Bradley Jr. hit his tenth in the fifth.
