Cleveland pounded Red Sox starter Chris Sale for seven runs in just three innings as Boston was trounced by the Indians 10-6 in the finale of their four-game series at Progressive Field.

Sale was roughed up on seven hits in suffering his sixth loss of the season. He walked three and struck out three. Considering that these two teams appear likely to meet in the playoffs, Sale's recent ineptitude against Cleveland (he also allowed seven runs to the Tribe on August 1st and has a 5.19 career ERA against Cleveland covering 19 starts) is of MAJOR concern.

Mitch Moreland (pictured) was the lone bright spot for the Red Sox offense with three hits including a pair of home runs.

Mookie Betts injured his right knee in the seventh inning when he ran into the right field wall attempting to make a catch. He was replaced by Rajai Davis.
