Andrew Benintendi drove in two runs with a two-out single in the top of the eleventh inning to push the Red Sox past the Orioles 10-8 at Camden Yards.

The win kept Boston's lead over the Yankees at three games in the American League East.

The Orioles had taken a 6-1 lead after four innings before the Red Sox exploded for six runs in the top of the fifth inning. Jackie Bradley Jr. and Brock Holt delivered run-scoring singles, and Mookie Betts drove in three with a bases-loaded double.

Baltimore scored twice in the bottom of the inning to take an 8-7 lead but Xander Bogaerts tied the game in the seventh with his ninth home run of the year.

Matt Barnes was the winner in relief. Doug Fister started for Boston but couldn't get out of the third inning. He was charged with five runs on four hits and five walks; he didn't strike out a batter.

The Magic Number for Boston to clinch a playoff spot is down to four; it's ten to clinch the AL East division.
