Recap - Price Dominates In Win Over Orioles

David Price was in vintage form Thursday night, throwing a complete game against the Orioles in a 6-2 Red Sox win at Fenway Park.

The big lefty needed just 95 pitches to beat Baltimore on five hits. He struck out eight and did not walk a batter in evening his record at 4-4.

Price held the Orioles scoreless until Manny Machado homered with two out in the top of the ninth.

J.D. Martinez started the Boston scoring with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning of Baltimore starter Kevin Gausman.

The Red Sox added four more in the bottom of the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Andrew Benintendi and a three-run homer by Xander Bogaerts.

Mookie Betts led the offense with three hits. Hanley Ramirez, Bogaerts and Sandy Leon each had two.
