Out of the lineup for fifteen days, Mookie Betts was activated from the disabled list Monday afternoon by the Red Sox who optioned Sam Travis back to Pawtucket to make room on the roster.

Betts leads the Majors in batting average (.359), on-base percentage (.437), slugging percentage (.750), and OPS (1.187). He will be a welcome addition to an offense that was held in check by the White Sox over the past weekend.
