Recap - Red Sox Long Balls Beat Astros

Christian Vazquez and Andrew Benintendi each homered in the top of the seventh inning to help the Red Sox come from behind and beat the Astros 5-4 on Saturday night at Minute Maid Park.

David Price (pictured) went six innings for the win to improve to 6-4. He allowed three Houston runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven.

Boston took a 1-0 lead in the first off Astros starter Justin Verlander on an RBI single by J.D. Martinez. Houston tied the score in the bottom of the second and then scored twice in the third to take a 3-1 lead.

Joe Kelly allowed a run in the eighth before giving way to Craig Kimbrel in the ninth. The Red Sox closer struck out two in a 1-2-3 performance for his 19th save of the year.
