Multi-hit performances up and down the lineup and a patchwork job of pitching added up to an 8-4 Red Sox win over the Rangers at Fenwy Park Tuesday night. It was Boston's eighth win in a row and ninth in their last ten games.

Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third inning, the Red Sox scored five times on RBI doubles by Jackie Bradley Jr. (pictured) and Andrew Benintendi, a run-scoring single by Mitch Moreland, and a two-RBI triple by Xander Bogaerts.

The bottom of the lineup was especially productive with Blake Swihart and JBJ each going 2-for-4 with a combined two RBI's and three runs scored.

Hector Valazquez started for Boston but did not figure in the decision. He went three innings, allowing one run on two hits and a pair of walks. Jalen Beeks allowed the other three runs in 2.1 innings of relief.

The win went to Matt Barnes who struck out the side in the seventh.

Mookie Betts and Benintendi each had two hits for Boston. With the exception of Rafael Devers, every batter had at least one hit.

The Red Sox have now had three winning streaks of at least eight games this season and are an amazing 35 games over .500.
