A combination of five Tampa Bay pitchers held the Red Sox to just two hits...and none after the fourth inning...as the Rays shut out Boston 2-0 Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park.

Both Rays runs came on solo home runs - Joey Wendle off starter Hector Velazquez in the second inning, and C.J. Cron off reliever Matt Barnes in the eighth.

Boston's lone hits were a single by Andrew Benintendi and a two-bagger by Xander Bogaerts.

Velazquez (pictured) went four innings in the loss allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out two. Of note were the four perfect innings out of the bullpen from Brandon Workman (2 IP), Joe Kelly and Heath Hembree.
