Martinez and Chavis (pictured) got to work early with J.D. hitting his sixth home run of the year and Chavis singling home another run in the bottom of the first inning.

Rafael Devers had three hits including his 12th double of the season. Martinez hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to complete the Boston scoring.

Hector Velazquez went five innings for his first win of the year. He was charged with both Seattle runs on two hits and a pair of walks while striking out three.

The Red Sox have now won five in a row and eight of their last ten. Monday is an off day before the Colorado Rockies come into Fenway for two games.
