Hey The Sox May Be Saved....

According to an ESPN Boston Bobby Valentine announced the idea of placing relief pitcher Alfredo Aceves into the rotation. The other night Aceves pitched 3 innings allowing one run.

In other news the lost soul John Lackey will join the Red Sox in Seattle when they start their 3 game series on Monday afternoon, with the chance of starting a game before the season ends.

Further news, relief pitcher Scott Atchison is throwing Monday for Pawtuckett and newly acquired (from the Dodgers)  minor leaguer Ivan DeJesus, has been called up because of the chance Pedroia needing to leave the team to tend to his wife and their baby.

Out of all this news, I am interested to see how DeJesus plays, who knows we could have a solid young player there. Also the idea of Aceves to the rotation may work out, with the Sox so far out of it now, why not try anything? Finally let's see if Lackey will actually pitch before the season ends in a month, and let's see if he actually looks decent.
