Chavis (pictured) homered in the bottom of the second to give Boston an early 2-0 lead. When Porcello handed the lead back on an RBI single and two-run homer in the third, the Red Sox put up a crooked number of their own in the bottom of the inning on an RBI single by J.D. Martinez and a two-run double by Devers.

Mookie Betts singled home another run in the fourth and Andrew Benintendi doubled home another run in the sixth to complete the Boston scoring.

Porcello earned his first win of the year allowing three runs on six hits while striking out five and walking three.
