The win gave Boston a sweep of the three-game series and upped their winning streak to four games.

The Royals got on the board first in the bottom of the second inning on a Cheslor Cuthbert solo home run and an RBI double by Billy Hamilton.

Boston took a 4-2 lead in the third on a two-run homer by Mookie Betts (pictured) and a two-RBI single by Rafael Devers. They added three more runs in the seventh on a two-run triple by Christian Vazquez who later scored on a wild pitch.

Eduardo Nunez led the Red Sox with three hits.

Boston returns to Fenway Friday night to open a four-game series with the second place Rays. Rick Porcello will get the start.
