Yankees Go Home

In the seventh inning, Mark Teixeira drew a walk with the bases loaded to score Derek Jeter, and then Nick Swisher came up.

The television broadcast flashed Swisher's stats against Detroit pitcher Joaquin Benoit: 3 for 11, with three home runs. All his hits against Benoit were home runs.

The bases were loaded.

But Swisher struck out, and the inning was over. The Yankees threatened in the ninth but couldn't score.

Amazing.
