The Birds Arrive

It should be good news, for the wobbly Sox, that the Orioles are coming to town. But it isn't.

The Orioles are second in the AL East, with a 16-9 record. Tonight's starter, Wei-Yin Chen, is 2-0 with 19 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched.

It would be great news, for all of baseball, if the Orioles resurged. Baltimore has had tough times, but it is a great baseball, town, and there aren't many of those left. Who wouldn't want to see the Orioles make a run?

I just hope the Sox run a little further.

And I really hope this series doesn't provoke High Anxiety.
