Salty's 5 RBI's Help Power Sox To 12-1 Win

Jarrod Saltalamacchia was one of 4 Red Sox players with multiple hits on Sunday and he drove in 5 runs to help lead the Red Sox to a 12-1 win over the Cleveland Indans at Fenway Park. For Boston it was their 3rd straight win.

Adrian Gonzalez, Will Middlebrooks, and Daniel Nava each had a pair of hits as the Red Sox roughed up former teammate Justin Masterson to the tune of 6 earned runs over 6 innings.

Daniel Bard picked up the win for the Sox. He went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 6 hits and 4 walks while striking out a pair.

NOTES - The Red Sox 12 runs came on 12 hits including home runs by Saltalamacchia and Will Middlebrooks. In all, they collected 7 extra base hits.
