Sox Win Second Straight, 4-1

Doubles were the weapon of choice in the early innings, with Saltalamacchia and David Ortiz each having RBI doubles, and Aviles scoring the first run after his double.

The Sox led 3-0 after four, and there it stayed until the Indians got one in the sixth, ending FĂ©lix Doubront's night because of pitch count, but he threw six clutch innings.

Cody Ross (pictured) slugged one over everything to make it 4-1, and Andrew Miller, Vicente Padilla, and Alfredo Aceves each pitched an inning of near-perfect relief to close it out.

A good clean win against a solid opponent -- that's more like it. I just took a step back from the ledge.
