Beckett Looks to Stop Sox Slide

While we were distracted by basketball and rain, the Sox lost two straight and dropped back to last place.

Remember when everybody wanted to trade Josh Beckett? Good times. Now he has the lowest WHIP among Sox starters (1.232). He had two great outings, and then his last outing was a loss but a decent performance.

Wei-Yin Chen gets the ball for Baltimore. The bloom seems to be coming off the Baltimore rose a little bit -- they were 3-7 in their last 10 games -- but of course one of those wins was last night's game. So let's hope Josh has his stuff.
