Tonight the Red Sox look for redemption and a series win
The Red Sox take the field at 7:15pm tonight as they play host to the Baltimore Orioles in game three of this three game series. Fenway Park is embarking on a new sellout record and the Red Sox need you to keep the trend alive for another 819 days, please?!
Boston lineup looks like:
1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. Shane Victorino, RF
3. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
4. Mike Napoli, 1B
5. Will Middlebrooks, 3B
6. Daniel Nava, DH
7. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
8. Stephen Drew, SS
9. Jackie Bradley Jr., LF
After a disastrous ninth inning that saw five runs cross home plate the Red Sox will look to win their third straight series and go up 2-1 on the season against Baltimore. The Sox face pitcher C. Tillman who went 3.2 innings against Minnesota and allowed 5 ER in the process. Look for the Red Sox to jump on pitches early tonight as they will try to score early and often.
Alfredo Aceves will make his first start of the season tonight replacing injured right hander John Lackey who was placed on the 15-day disabled list earlier this week. Aceves has a proven track record when given the opportunity to start games but the Sox will look to support his efforts with runs on the board just as much as defense in the field.
