Per ESPN New York, Alex Rodriguez "stormed" out of his grievance hearing after arbitrator Frederic Horowitz said commissioner Bud Selig did not have to testify in front of A-Rod's attorneys. He slammed his hand on the table and cursed at COO Rob Manfred, saying "You know you're full of s---!"

Rodriguez issued a statement after he stormed out through his spokesperson, per ESPN New York:

"I am disgusted with this abusive process, designed to ensure that the player fails," Rodriguez's statement said. "I have sat through 10 days of testimony by felons and liars, sitting quietly through every minute, trying to respect the league and the process. This morning, after Bud Selig refused to come in and testify about his rationale for the unprecedented and totally baseless punishment he hit me with, the arbitrator selected by MLB and the Players Association refused to order Selig to come in and face me.

"The absurdity and injustice just became too much. I walked out and will not participate any further in this farce."

This is spiraling out of control. At least from A-Rod's perspective. For the rest of us who think A-Rod has completely gone off the deep end (everyone who is not a diehard A-Rod fan, which is probably 95% of baseball fans), this is just entertainment. We all know he's done; it's just a matter of time before MLB confirms what we all know. Now all I need is some popcorn and a Diet Coke, and maybe a box of Milk Duds, and I'll be all set.
