Have you been looking for the perfect stocking stuffer for your Red Sox Nation card carrying friend? I've got a solution for you. Band Of Bearded Brothers, NESN's behind the scenes look at the Boston Red Sox 2013 season, comes out on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in stores througtout New England. Narrated by the original "idiot," former Red Sox first baseman and 2004 World Series Champion Kevin Millar, this DVD promises to go behind the scenes with player commentary, untold stories and never seen before footage that includes the Boston Marathon all the way up to the Duck Boat parade.

I am really looking forward to this version over the MLB version (even though Band of Bearded Brothers was produced by MLB Productions) because NESN has so much more film of Boston footage over the MLB, seeing as how NESN is the local station that carries the Sox all season long. Also, NESN picked the perfect voice to narrate this DVD, as Kevin Millar stared in the 2004 version and is most known for telling reporter Dan Shaughnessy "Don't let us win tonight!" After the Sox were down 3-0 to the Yankees in the ALCS.

The DVD features 81 minutes of footage and is a must buy this Christmas season. It even has a bonus 20 minutes showing David Ortiz's 2013 best moments, the Rolling Rally, and the Pregame Speech from Ortiz on April 20th, the first home game for the Sox since the Boston Marathon Bombing.
