Red Sox switching uniforms

According to Yahoo Sports, the Red Sox are switching their uniforms and going back to red letters with blue trim on their away jerseys (see: left, below). They switched to blue-on-gray back in 2009, part of a back-and-forth that has been going on since 1938, according to Yahoo Sports. These uniforms will be similar to what they wore from 1990-2008 and is a "desire to revert back to [their] traditional style of uniform," according to Yahoo.
