You think it was bad before? Things may have gotten worse for the Red Sox Wednesday night. Juan Encarnacion hit 2 more home runs - he now has 11 for the month of May - and Clay Buchholz didn't get through the 5th inning as Boston fell 6-4 to the Blue Jays at Fenway Park.
The loss was the 6th straight for the Red Sox.
The Blue Jays jumped out to a 4-0 lead with 2 runs each in the 2nd and 3rd innings off Buchholz who seemed to have little, if any, command of his pitches.
A.J. Pierzynski and Xander Bogaerts each had 3 hits; Shane Victorino hit his 1st home run of the season.
