Brandon Workman dominated the Orioles allowing just one hit over 6.2 innings as the Red Sox blanked Baltimore 1-0 at soggy Camden Yards to even their 3-game series at one apiece.
Workman and the Red Sox waited out a pair of rain delays in the 2nd inning; the game's only run scored on an RBI single by Mike Napoli in the top of the third that drove in Brock Holt.
In by far his most impressive performance at the big league level, Workman was perfect through 4.1 innings until he allowed a walk; he struck out 4.
Holt and A.J. Pierzynski each had two hits for Boston; Holt now has a 10-game hitting streak.
